The Ohio River Valley Food Venture is a shared-use certified commercial kitchen which provides space and services to bakers, caterers, specialty food producers and hobbyists. The mission of our kitchen is to provide the specialty food entrepreneur with all of the services necessary to succeed in this highly competitive world. Our 5,200 square foot state-of-the-art kitchen includes equipment for preparation, cooking and processing of a wide variety of food items, including steam kettles, cook ‘n hold ovens, fryers, vertical mixers, a proofer, and an automated bottle filling system.
The Food Venture is co-located with the offices of the Southeastern Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC), and utilizes resources and services provided by the VOBC business incubator. |
